Shamefully not having updated our news for a while - here's a bit of a chunk all at once
PARAGRAPH will have it's world premiere at the BARBICAN CINEMA on Saturday July 4th at 4pm . We are really excited to be part of the EAST END FILM FESTIVAL as it is by far, hands down, our favourite independent UK film festival.
17 BEGINNINGS OF TALIA opened at DOCAVIV to a sold out audience at the Cinemateque and has since started its broadcast run and received 5 star reviews! The film has been a lobour of love for Yoni over the past 10 years so huge congrats to him!
GLASTONBURY: LAND AND LEGEND , Emily's immersive film installation for the V&A, opened the PRAGUE QUADRENNIAL last week and will be at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery until June 28th.

Nice news for Family Found. The short documentary about Morton Bartlett will be screening for 3 months from MAY at the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum in Berlin as part of their Secret Universe exhibition.

LOVE ARRANGED - a documentary feature written and edited by Emily had its international premier at Hotdocs in Toronto and was selected by Sundance Institute to be one of the best 20 films of the festival and is now picking up international distribution, way to go Em!

We are really happy to just hear the news that BORGES AND I will be showing at one of our favourite cinemas in New York! It will be at the
Anthology Film Archive Cinema as part of their New Filmmakers Series this November. We will update with specifics closer to the time. Also, another chance to catch the film in London will be at the Portobello Film Festival on September 8th.

The first US screening of BORGES AND I will take place at
Seattle True Independent Film Festival on June 10th.

Great News - BORGES AND I wins Best Feature Film (no-budget category) at the London Independent Film Festival !!
Judges awarding the film included actrors Kelly McDonald and Tom Felton, Cinematographer Dick Pope, Little White Lies editor Matt Bochenski and some more influential industry people.

Artivist Film Festival in London , Friday March 5th at 8pm.
It is the opening film of the festival, showing before the acclaimed docuemntary CHILDREN OF WAR.

We the Peoples Film Festival, it will be screening on the 19th of November. The festival concentrates on Human Rights films and is taking place in Central London. Click on the link for more info.

Also we are very pleased to announce that our recent documentary OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND has been selected to premiere as part of Artivist Film Festival in Hollywood and London, one of the most prominent international film festivals dedicated to addressing Human Rights and Children's Advocacy. The Guardian are kindly airing an excerpt from our film OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND for the next month as one of the women, Marjorie,
has a hearing this Friday (August 14th) to appeal a decision not to allow her 10-year-old daughter a visa despite having no surviving family in Uganda to care for her. We are hoping the exposure will gain her some
much deserved public support.

In addition to our own documentary on the subject, OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND, during the past months we have been filming and editing all the video content for a special charity site - The Testimony Project
designed to help asylum seekers and their families to cope with the terrible difficulties they face in the UK. We are proud to be involved with this issue which is dear to our hearts and hope that someday the harsh reality these people face will be recognized and they will be treated with the respect they deserve.

An intense period of editing, which involved the wonderful Editor Susan Korda, brought our latest feature film 'Borges and I' to it's final stages.

Congratulations to Emily for being accepted to Berlinale Talent Campus 2009! With only 300 selected out of 5000 applicants it was the most competitive year to date.

BEYOND THE FOREST has been selected to the Artivist Film Festival in LA, the first international film festival and awards dedicated to addressing Human Rights, Children's Advocacy, Environmental Preservation, and Animal Rights. Films that premiered at the festival include ACADEMY AWARD winner "Born into Brothels" and
ACADEMY AWARD Nominee "Super Size Me". The screening will be held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood between Oct 2 - Oct 5 so check out the Artivists Film Festival program and come along if you happen to be in LA.

We are pleased to announce that TOVARISCH, I'M NOT DEAD (co-produced and edited by Emily Harris) is on the shortlist of 8 titles for the Grierson, Britain's top documentary prize, competing for the UK Film Council Best Cinema Documentary award against not only UK but international films, of which 3 are Oscar winner/nominees and one a Sundance award winner.

TOVARISCH, I'M NOT DEAD (feature documentary co-produced and edited by Emily Harris) sees the start of its national cinema release
opening in London with Odeon Cinemas and soon showing at The National Film Theatre BFI before touring to regional cinemas throughout the country.

THREE TOWERS has been sold to a 3rd television territory - Australia. Previously the film was bought for broadcast by France and Portugal.

Wonderful news, Three Towers has been selected for the Short Narrative
Competition at the Tribeca Film Festival! We are delighted as Tribeca was on top of our wish list and thematically there is no better place to show this film!
Three Towers gets into Aspen Shorts Fest, one of the best and most competitive short film festivals in the US! We will be going to the mountains of Colorado to represent the film thanks to a British Council travel grant.

Corbijn and Kevin Macdonald amongst others.
Three Towers is in the official selection at the 30th Sao Paulo International Film Festival, One of the most prestigious film festivals in South America.
NOVEMBER 2006
Three Towers is one of the 40 films selected out of more than 2300 to participate in the International Short Film Festival Winterthur, Switzerland.

Three Towers is currently doing the festival circuit. It was selected for a special screening at the Jerusalem Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film at the Montreal World Film Festival August 2006.
